    I’ve been listening for a bit, while trying to figure out how to make Google Hangouts talk to JACK audio. Wonder how Dustin does it.

    DUSTIN YOU MAD GENIUS

    Pulse was the problem. I exited out of GNOME and into Window Maker, loaded the hangout, and instead of Pulse audio devices, I got ALSA ones. That was enough to use the alsa backend to get it into JACK audio.

    I’d be happy to give you guys a tour of it one of these days. It’s a lot easier to use than it looks.

    Still grooving on the episode, btw. I want dinosaurs with feathers.
